Hatha

"Yoga is an effortless dance with breath and gravity." ~ Vanda Scaravelli

These classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Asanas (yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Relaxation techniques will be combined to improve strength and flexibility, relax the body and calm the mind, leaving students feeling refreshed, inspired and relaxed.

Vajrasati Yoga

The classes integrate movement, breath, philosophy and humour in a way that leaves you feeling lighter, refreshed and revitalised.

Interwoven into the fabric of the asanas is the spirit of the yoga movement. The central premise embodied in the word yoga itself; that the isolation of breath, body, mind, heart, energy is simply a convention which covers a more obvious truth that each of these elements are inseparable parts of one whole experience that has at its heart freedom, joy, wisdom, and bliss.

Acroyoga

Acroyoga is dynamic supported transitions in the air . You will experience the joy of flying inverted massage sequences in this art of combining acrobatics, partner yoga, human mandalas and yoga together - learn to fly and support one another and be floated in space. This is a unique opportunity to journey into community dynamic play!

 Awaken Heart yoga

  "  Bhaktiyoga flow "

Flowing undulating rhythmic connected yoga with a focus on opening the heart.

Together we dive into communion and divine Union riding on the breath, with heart awakening mudras & bandhas woven on the thread  of live mantra vocals & sacred soundscape instrumentation to dissolve conditioned boundaries.

Unity Partner Yoga

'Unity Partner Yoga is accessable to all, bringing the community together through a sacred yet joyful practice of duo/group yoga. Together, we are able to flow deeper in our practice, receiving support and tenderness whilst establishing strength and grounding as we also support others. This practice is mutually beneficial throughout, leading us into a deeply meditative, restorative space whilst also connecting through plenty of smiles & laughter along the way!

Unity Yoga focusses on the breath, sensation & energy as we flow through a range of natural organic movement at the heart of Yoga Asana. Dynamics vary between the deep and subtle, to strong and focussed postures and sequences.
The workshop opens with a Unity Yoga individual warm up, followed by Partner Yoga and ending with Savasana and Yoga Nidra or some Partner Acupressure Massage, depending on the needs of the group.'

Ashtanga for everyone

Ashtanga is a challenging, dynamic practice, but it is accessible to most people. I teach it in a way that encourages everyone to try it, giving alternatives and showing options to people for whom the full posture might be too difficult at first. I focus particularly on the breath and safe alignment - give it a try!

Also known as ‘embodied mindfulness’).

Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes are sacred, soulful & inspirational offerings peppered with functional anatomy (the science of the body) and steeped in her deep knowledge of Pranayama (Breathing techniques), Mudra (symbolic or ritual gesture), Yoga Sutras (teachings), Mantra & the Esoteric System (chakras).
